STORIES: Le Foot

CONAKRY, GUINEA. One Sunday afternoon, a group of friends invited me to join them in a game of soccer, aka football, aka le foot. I threw on a t-shirt and tennis shoes and met them in the courtyard. But once I arrived, the scene arrested my sensibilities in every way possible. So I ran home, grabbed my camera, and returned to the courtyard to capture the moment.
